I have always loved the concept of yin and yang (陰陽). The Chinese philosophy emphasises on the idea of dualism, and how duality actually creates harmony. I decided to express it through the use of contrasting colours and a balanced composition.

A book on a 24 hour trip in Japan, from Kyoto to Tokyo.
The book flips from traditional Japanese reading format to Western, as the time changes from day (Kyoto) to night (Tokyo). Allowing readers to really experience Japan’s two contrasting sides.
